Scenes from the Krankenhaus

I am so proud of myself for being able to figure out how to download pictures to this internet cafe computer....reading it in entirely German. Yeah me! (Sandra & I reek of cigarette smoke after this experience..the cafe is connected to a bar and gambeling casino. Can't wait to jump back outside so that I can take a deep breath again. :) I thought you might enjoy seeing pics of Brad in his hospital room.

Brad, right after surgery. The idodine over his neck and shoulders looks like a really cheap fake tanner..very cute.

Showing off his wounds.

I am so impressed!! The pictures are great.

Keeping all of you in our prayers.

Hope all of you get some good rest. Tell Sandra I'm proud of her - I'm not a "roughing" it person either. She is a real trouper!

Daryl and I are keeping you in our prayers and thoughts. As one who has traveled with David in less than Ritz Carlton conditions, Daryl sympathizes with both of you. Brad's hospital room is looking like the Presidential Suite.

The people of Germany are very willing to help you in any way they can if you go to the local market and just stumble through your phrasebook. It will probably be a child that will come forward with perfect English and answer all of your questions and concerns.

Thank you again for making it possible for us to stay in touch with the progress.

You are in my prayers. Jenny you are a woman of amazing faith! God is with you and Brad and his parents. I pray for safe, sane travel for your parents (the kids will do fine:).

The light of God surrounds you,
the power of God protects you,
the love of God enfolds you,
and the presence of God watches over you,
where ever you are God is and all is well.

Much love,
Mary Pat
