It is 10am here and we are back in the clinic waiting for Brad's fever to start. Brad is being given the Coley's toxins in 2 doses again today in hopes to control the effects. So far..no fever and we are waiting. The really good part is Brad is sleeping right now. Sleep is so rare these days...I am really thankful to see him napping. Last night he got some of the best sleep he has had in such a long time. Bryan & I made Brad a very special coconut mixture with coke for him to drink after dinner to help him sleep...it seems to have helped...HOORAY!

Most of our days and evenings are filled with the guys playing video games, Canasta, dominoes and LOTS of fantasy football talk. I will occasionally blurt out words like, 'lipstick, shopping, purses, pink, & butterflies' just to shake up the imbalance of the highly-filled testosterone conversation. I mean, really...I have never heard 2 people have more to say about sports than these 2. I think they could talk about the Aggies, Astros, Texans, Rockets, & fantasy football from now until the end of time and that still wouldn't be enough. All joking aside, 'thank you Bryan for coming with us so that I don't have to be the sounding board for all the sports conversation.'

Thank you for all your sleep prayers...they are being heard. We are certainly getting more rest.

I will write more later to let you know how the rest of today goes...

I'm so glad Brad is getting more sleep. Sorry there's so much guy talk, but I agree, it must be nice that it's not all directed at you.

I'm glad Brad is getting some sleep...you need to come to Missouri for a balance -- I have three girls :)

God is so good to hear us and answer so quickly. We continue to praise his name and call on him to continue guiding Brad's treatment all the way to healing.

Sweet dreams!

Praising God for better sleep! I just got a chance to catch up on reading all of your Germany posts - I am so thankful that the travel went well. Your positive & thankful spirit is continually amazing. We'll pray that Brad's body's tough reaction to the therapy earlier this week was a one time thing - how scary for you both. Sending lots of healing & good rest prayers your way!
