I went out this morning to run an errand with Kaelyn & I got pulled over right in front of my house for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign. Ugh! I'm not sure what was more embarrassing...getting pulled over....or getting a ticket 50 feet in front of my house.
Usually I get really anxious when I see a cop or see him put on his lights...this time it was a different experience for me...I really didn't care. It seemed like such a minor detail in the whole grand scheme of things. I just kept laughing in my head as I thought of different dialogues I could tell this man...like, "Don't you realize I really don't have time for this? I mean, I really don't." or "Here's my website address...once you read through my family's last year, then you can decide if you still want to give me this rediculous ticket?"
But, of course, I didn't say anything...just a polite smile and a "thank you" when he handed me the pink gift. Really...I did...I told him "thank you." Ok, he was a nice man and he was just doing his job...as yucky of a job as it must be.
Ok, I just had to vent a little.
Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's off to online defensive driving I go!
Zeke took this stunning picture for me...he is becoming quite the photographer...he captured my feelings perfectly! :)

Thank you for your outlook and positive attitude- I am so amazed and encouraged by the way you handled a frustrating situation with such a sweet perspective! I am often guilty of letting something like that ruin my day, so you have set a beautiful example! :) I'll think of this next time I start to throw myself a pity party!
Big Bummer! I totally always say thank you when they hand me a ticket. After I drive away I can't beleive I just said thank you. Thinking about and praying for you guys often.

Well, boo! So sorry to hear about that little bump in the road. But I love your outlook about it. We all waste so much time getting upset about unimportant things. Hope the rest of your day was much more pleasant.
your cute lil nose! great way to look at it all...whatevs!
Well, that's just great.... sorry about that Jenny... but of course you smiled about it.. you are so positive all the time. You are such an inspiration. One day Darrell and I got tickets on Bay Area on the same day- one right after the other, from the same lady. We took online dd together... very long.....
We love you guys, and we are so thankful to God for the better days that Brad is having!
Ugh, I hate tickets. I always want to tell them to go arrest someone who is committing a REAL crime like, um, say MURDER.
Good luck with Defensive Driving!
No fun! Glad we got to visit and hang out last night. I am taking DD as well.
