Cancer-Fighting Chicken Chili......YUM!

Our very kind friends from church have taken it upon themselves to bring us meals each week that fit the perameters for our new Cancer-fighting diet. Emily Gayhart brought Brad some FABULOUS chicken chili last night. She researched recipes online and found one from the American Cancer Society website. Wait a minute, Emily....I've been cooking for Brad with these dietary restrictions for a week now and he hasn't smiled like that over any of my meals! All joking aside....it was really delicious.

Glad that it isn't all greens like I suspected when you said he was going on a "cancer fighting diet". We all know how I feel about salad. :) Loved the posts w/ the kids pics - Kaelyn has twice as much hair as Mae.

Good friends bringing good food. It's a great combination, isn't it? The kids are just precious. Loved seeing Kaelyn standing (even though my neck "popped" when I turned my head to watch it) and hearing Zeke's excitement. We're keeping all of you continuously in our prayers.

Stumbled here through the Yates' blog. Erin and I were in the AFC with Brad (and I think we met you, Jenny, at some point). We'd not heard anything about Brad's trials. We will be praying for him and for the whole family.

Howdy,

I was steered to your blog by the Maxeys. I also know Brad from A&M, and still think of him once in while when I remember the AFC days. During that time I developed a strong respect for him. It breaks my heart to learn about this.

Strangely enough, I now work for M.D. Anderson (programming not the medical side) and I've met Dr. Benjamin a few times. He's one of the best docs we've got.

You and your family are in my own prayers too, Brad.

I found your blog through others. I will be praying for you and your husband. Thank you for sharing this with the world so we can all pray for you and for the miracle we will confidently pray that God brings.

Blessings,
