Tough Day

Brad had an incredibly difficult day today. It wasn't as scary as the 28th...or the week following, but he did have some intense breathing challenges...more shallow, quicker breaths which sometimes led to light-headedness.

Brad woke up this morning not feeling quite right and he never seemed to bounce back from it. I am wondering if our humid, pollen-filled air has something to do with it. He seems almost to be struggling with allergy-type symptoms. If his compromised lungs are only further challenged by allergies...it would make sense to me why he would suddenly be struggling in such a way. Tonight we are trying a medication with a nasal decongestant & antihistimine to see if it gives him any relief.

We were all very emotional today as we again witnessed Brad have such breathing issues. The thought of him not being able to get enough air can be very frightening. We are certainly asking for more prayers right now. Brad continues to emit a very strong, positive attitude. He affirmed tonight that he knows God can heal him and he prayed that God choose tonight to do so. I know that Brad is tired of struggling in this way, but he continues to amaze me with his strength and attitude. He is such an amazing man.

Thank you for praying for our family. We love you all.

Yes, Brad is an amazing man but my dear lady, you are equally as amazing. Your love, strength, compassion, and attitude are quite simply one of the clearest examples of Christ's spirit on earth. God has blessed us all with the example you and Brad continue to share with us. May we all be as strong and dedicated to loving, leaning, and learning about the Great Healer. We pray continuously that He hears our prayers for complete healing, for ease of breathing, and restful nights. We love you all so very much, kim e

I've been following your blog for quite a while (I found you through Blake & Camille's blog) and have been amazed at the faith, grace, and strength of your entire family. Please know that I will continue to pray for Brad, especially this week. God is still in the miracle business, and I pray that He blesses Brad with complete healing. You are also in my prayers as you stand by your sweet husband and care for him. May God grant you endurance, and joy in the little things. Your family is beautiful, God bless you all.

Brad and Jenny,
We are praying for you. I lift you up many times as I talk to our Lord each day. My life has been changed by you and I know so many others have had the same experience. Clear Creek High School misses you and we are thinking of you often as we do Caps for Wimms and our walk in March. You are loved and your strength inspires so many of us. Know we support and are with you in our prayers and thoughts. By the way, I celbrate my 2 year victory on my cancer in middle of March. With God, ALL things are possible.
