Brad had another difficult day..both physically and emotionally. He felt overwhelmed with grief and kept saying that he is so tired of being in the same physical state, without signs of improvement. He was also frustrated with his lack of energy and shortness of breath.

The highlight of today was the visit from the praise team this evening. They stood around our bed and sang his favorite praise songs...it was very moving. There is nothing like hearing praise songs being sung in acapella...especially in a small space. Brad received his very own personal concert...it was wonderful & uplifting.

We also spent more time in meditation after everyone left. Following that session, Brad said that he was the most relaxed that he had been in days. I was incredibly encouraged to see him more peaceful and content.

Thank you for your prayers.

I will continue to pray and pray and pray for healing. So very glad to read that Brad was more relaxed after his "concert" and the time of meditation. May peace reign throughout the night, and may morning bring renewal to body, mind and spirit. Love you all!

We are lifting you guys up to the Lord constantly. I can't imagine how frustrated Brad must be... his faith in all this has been huge, and I'm so glad that the praise time brought him some peace & calm in the storm. Praying this morning that this day brings improvement, energy, and better breathing.

I had a friend who was battling cancer & we would sing praise songs in her room.... those are the most precious memories of hearing those voices in a small area... that just soothes the soul!!

Still praying!!!

We are friends of the Maxeys & will pray for you as well during this time. My 2 yr old and I really enjoyed your Disney Character picture book...we were at Magic Kingdom a couple weeks back, but did not realize characters close up shop at 5pm! So none of those pics for us. Anyway, thinking of you in His love, Gig em, Herringtons

I Peter 5:6-7 and 10

6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
