More Update via Lisa

It's Lisa again. First of all, thank you so much to all of you for all of your dear comments and sweet words of encouragement. I will be sure to pass them on to Brad Jenny, and I am sure she will read them when she has a moment. Brad had an ok night--actually got at least a little rest, with the exception of a huge coughing episode this morning. Still having much difficulty with breathing, but amazingly, got up into his chair in the living room and even participated in some Trivial Pursuit! His breathing is still quite labored and he is easily fatigued, although the medications do seem to bring some relief temporarily. Please continue to lift him up in prayer continuously--I want God to be bombarded, pestured, and continuously pelted with our requests for healing!! Thank you all.

Lisa, thanks for the updates. I know God hears all our prayers, and I know he is getting a ear full on Brad's behalf! Lord, we are continuing to beg for your miracle healing of Brad and thanking you for your love and comfort for this sweet family.

Thank you for the updates Lisa. Much appreciated.

I am blown away but not truly surprised by the response to this blog. Brad and Jenny are clearly touching the lives of so many by their examples of faith and strength. 62 people commented on the previous update so far. I'm sure many who read the blog don't comment, and there are countless others who hear about the blog and Brad's status without actually visiting.

Prayer is a mighty weapon, and a true blessing. While I'm sure we could never truly 'nag' our loving God, I say we give it a try. As we all find time throughout our days to lift up Brad and Jenny to God, let's make a special effort to do so at the top and bottom of each hour. Our combined shouts of prayer at those times may in fact 'pester' our Father. I think it would also be neat if Brad could look at his watch at the :00 or :30 and KNOW that he has scores of prayer warriors calling out to God on his behalf at that exact moment. Who is with me?

Spread the word. We have about 20 minutes until 2:00. Of course there is nothing preventing us from getting started early. =)

Great idea "Matt, Kara, and Hank" about the group prayer on the hour and half hour. I will be doing just that! We are praying, praying, praying for you all throughout the day, too! Shawna

God hears our prayers and He is hearing The Wimms family a lot as you are being lifted throughout the entire country and around this world. Like many people who you touched, we are spreading the word through phone, email, church prayer chains and word of mouth for grace, healing, peace, comfront and God's love on your family. I join the others in praying for you every 30 minutes.

Your family has touched my life in more than you will ever know as I fight my own battle with cancer. Meeting Brad the first year I taught high school to finding out I had cancer just a couple months after Brad found out about his cancer, his courage has given me strength in my time of need. I bow my head for your strength during your time and ask God to be close to your side.

Your faith, your love for each other and your fight to live is a witness to all. God bless you and know you are in God's healing hands.

You are touching lives in a profound way, Brad (and Jenny). I have looked at my children in a fresh way today, intensely aware that I am not guaranteed tomorrow and that each moment with them is a treasure.

Thank you for your relentless, inexhaustible and positive spirit. You have touched and blessed my life forever, and I am praising God for you and your sweet family.

Much love and unceasing prayers and boundless blessings from the Fagalas!! We believe in miracles!
