National Night Out

Last night our block celebrated National Night Out at the home of our neighbors, BJ and Allison Powers. BJ has been planning/advertising our gathering for several weeks and because of that, there was a great turn-out. We even had the local Deer Park police officers come join our party. Zeke reminded me that I needed to be on my best behavior in their presence, although I'm not exactly sure what he was concerned that I might try to do. :)

The kids and I live in such a great neighborhood and we are certainly blessed with a host of fantastic neighbors.
