How Do You Say "Thank You?"

This is a video that was presented during our church service at Southeast on Sunday, May 31st. Just wanted to share with those who would like to see it.

Special thanks to Scott Allen for helping me create this video & all the other memory media for our family. We love you Scott!

Jenny, keep in mind that I am just a bystander many miles away in Charlotte...but how do you say "thank you"? I think you have done it many times over through your love for Brad and your family over the past year. Your thank you's have shown through your amazing faith, love of the Lord and the example that you have shown all of us. What beautiful words you shared with your church. Jenny, just keeping smiling, setting that example, living your special life and continue to pass it on to the world around you. I know that each hour and day is not aways easy right now but your are an amazing woman!!! May God continue to bless you. Nancy Williams

Thank you for sharing the video, Chris & I were not in service that week and were so sad to have missed it. I think that you've told everyone thank you again and again, and truthfully no one needs a thank you. There are only so many times you can say "I love you" to someone, but there are very few times in life you really get to show someone how much you do love them. The last 3 years have really been a chance for all of us to challenge ourselves to show Brad how much we loved him. And in turn we all learned how to show each other how much we love one another, beyond the words.

What a beautiful gesture that you made from your heart. I think that is just how you say thank you. You already did it. Hope your life is still being filled with blessings of family, friends and feeling God's constant care.

Jenny - Your faith, leadership, compassion and love are such an inspiration to so many. I even had several people from our church in Illinois stopping me in the hall to ask about you and tell me they were reading your blog. The Wims family has touched all of our hearts and we'll be forever changed because of you.
Love you lady!

What a beautiful video. I don't know you personally but have been so touched by your blog. I don't even remember how I found it, but am so glad I did. As a previous commenter said..."you point me to God everytime I read it."
You had mentioned in the video and I have seen you mention it on the side of your blog, but what is the "cancer fighting diet?" Is it a book that you read that directed you towards those particular foods? Would you be interested in sharing more about that with us? I'd love to read the books, etc... Do you continue to follow a somewhat "clean" diet, like it sounds like that was? I would love to hear more about it, if you ever have a chance to write a bit about it.
You are amazing, and I am so blessed by you and your testimony. You are a true woman of God...and I feel honored to read your blog.

Jenny:

Just another anonymous follower of your blog who still lifts you up in prayer. I am continually amazed at the love and strength you show to the world during the saddest time of your life. My heart aches that as I approach my 10 yr. anniversary, I do not feel the power of the continuous love you and Brad obviously shared, or the common bond of worshipping the Father together. I pray that some day God will bless our family with that renewed connection. My prayers continue for your strength and comfort, as you still face many trying days ahead. God bless your little family and those around you. I'm sure they all felt it a privilege to be able to serve God by serving you during Brad's illness.

Hi, Jenny! It's good to hear your voice...and what is so ironic, but truly makes you a good writer, is that I was not surprised...your voice sounds exactly as I had imagined. I admire your strength and endurance. I have been a single mother for 3 years now, and I praise God for my church family and friends. Keep on keeping on, as they say. Your children are so lucky to have you.
