Zeke showing off his trampoline karate moves!

Saturday, May 3, 2008

Zeke having lunch with his brothers at school.

Kaelyn has Dan so "wrapped" that he will do anything and everything she wants...including wearing her bow in his hair if she prefers.

A trip to Jump-N-Jacks....they won't want to come home they have been having SO much fun! Constant entertainment.

Zeke decided that the bottom of the new playhouse would make a great garage for all his cars. He had a great time lining them all up. The only problem came when his sister crawled back there with him and wanted to help him "rearrange" a few of them. He wasn't too pleased about that idea. (And yes, my son does walk around all the time in just his underwear...hey, it's a step up from being entirely nude...for a while there we were known on the street as "the house with the little naked boy.")

Kaelyn's New Favorite

Zeke selected a personal-sized watermelon the other day when we were out grocery shopping. When we came home & cut it up, he decided to share some with his sister. Well, we found a new favorite of Kaelyn...she LOVES watermelon! She ended up eating 4 pieces in one sitting! She would eat a piece, then point & say, "mmmm..mmmm" until someone would hand her another piece. I guess she must take after her great-grandpa Crotts who also LOVES watermelon.

Look at those wild eyes in the first picture...she's so crazy-excited about it!

Multitasking

The other day while Zeke was pushing Kaelyn around the backyard in his Tonka truck, the phone rang. It was a call for Zeke from Uncle Matt. The funniest part was as I gave the phone to Zeke, he promptly propped it up on his shoulder to talk and continued to push Kaelyn (you can't see my cell phone that well in the picture). I thought it was hysterical....I wonder where he has seen that done before? Hmmmmm....

Leader Zeke

Before the kids left to go to Kerrville, Zeke was really excited about Tuesday's events at school. Tuesday was a VERY special day because it was the day that he got to be the leader. The leader has special door-holding privledges, flag-holding privledges and is basically the teacher's helper for the day.

Several conversations were had the previous week sounding something like this...
Z:On umbrella day (Thursday the previous week) it will be Reese's turn and then it will be my turn to be the leader!

To document the momentous occasion, I, of course, had to go to school with Zeke to take a few pictures.

Anniversary Celebration Lunch

Yesterday Brad & I decided to cook our Anniversary meal together. We grilled halibut, browned fingerling potatoes, and steamed broccoli. It was so yummy! Brad is such a fantastic griller & the fish was SO good.
